Droplet Desktop Planters

Featuring fun yet sophisticated retro style, the Droplet desk planter highlighted in the photograph is produced here at H & H Manufacturing & Metal Spinning Inc. for Pad Outdoor. Pad Outdoor is a Los Angeles based company focused on designing beautiful products and manufacturing them locally in a conscientious manner. Constructed from aluminum, an easily recyclable metal, we use metal spinning to form the geometry of the planter. Metal spinning involves shaping a pre-cut aluminum blank by pushing it over a mandrel rotating at high speed. Our operators are highly skilled, the process requires minimal tooling, and it generates very little material waste, making it a very quality-conscious and cost-conscious approach to fabrication.

This version of the Droplet features approximate dimensions of 8.0″ in diameter x 5.0″ in height. The spun aluminum design is 0.050″ in thickness, making it lightweight and sturdy. Our technicians have the experience and dexterity to execute a two-part spinning process to form the geometric attributes of this single piece tabletop vessel. This product also features a decorative powder coated finish. Powder coating is an economical method for creating color-durable finishes and it is also environment-friendly. We use no solvents or VOCs and collect the over-sprayed powder for reuse. The durability of our powder-coated finish enables consumers to display the mid-century modern tabletop planters both indoors and outdoors.

We produce approximately 100 of these planters per order and deliver them within 10 to 15 days.
